- Das Santoku ist ein klassisches Allzweckmesser. Übersetzt steht sein Name für die „drei Tugenden“: Fleisch, Fisch und Gemüse.

Der Name "Sujihiki" setzt sich aus den japanischen Wörtern "Suji" (Fleischfasern oder Sehnen) und "Hiki" (ziehen) zusammen und beschreibt präzise seine primäre Funktion: das präzise Schneiden und Filetieren von Fleisch, ohne die Fasern zu zerreißen.
Im Gegensatz zu westlichen Filetiermessern, die oft flexibel und kürzer sind, zeichnet sich das Sujihiki durch seine Länge, Schärfe und Präzision aus.
Es ist ein unverzichtbares Werkzeug für Köche, die Wert auf Sauberkeit und Effizienz legen, und wird häufig in der Sushi- und Fleischverarbeitung eingesetzt. -
Das Petty (japanisch peti naifu) ist das kleine Allzweckmesser der japanischen Küche: schmaler und wendiger als ein Gyūtō, länger und vielseitiger als ein westliches Schälmesser. Es sitzt genau in der Lücke zwischen Feinarbeit in der Hand und präziser Brettarbeit.

Should you nevertheless wish to return or exchange a product, please contact us in advance. You can return or exchange all Lilienstahl products that you have purchased in this online shop or ordered by email without giving reasons within 14 days of receipt of the goods.
The basic condition for taking back the goods and refunding the full purchase price is that the goods are returned complete and undamaged; products that have obviously been used and are therefore no longer saleable cannot be taken back and refunded.

- Only use the back of the blade to remove the cuttings from the board.

- After use, wash the knife with lukewarm water. A little detergent is also recommended for the blade.
- Dry the knife carefully with a cloth so that no moisture remains.
